In accordance with ARTC’s PER-PEO-008 Engineering Design and Project Management procedure, roles are to be re-assessed every 4 years from the original application date to show continued currency of skills and knowledge. This is achieved by uploading current evidence of continued experience in the chosen roles.
External assessors currently approved to carry out assessments on behalf of ARTC for both their own companies and external organisations will also require reassessment every 4 years. This is also achieved by uploading current evidence of continued experience in the assessor role and a re-signed assessor agreement.
Recent discussions between John Holland Rail and ARTC have led to an agreement between both organisations to recognise the engineering and project management roles and associated assessment processes.
